GOD'S WAY IS ALWAYS TO RESTORE 07/07/2010
God’s Way Is Always To Restore Jeremiah 18:1-8 Even though we mess up and we turn and forget our Lord, He will forgive if we will turn and repent from our wicked ways. Our Lord is a restorer. Isaiah 61:1-4 God has appointed us as a restorer of that which is broken. His ways are to restore. Always. Ezekiel 18:25-31 If an unsaved person can come to the Lord and all of his sins be forgiven and he will live, is that fair to you? But is a saved person turns from righteousness and returns to their wicked ways, then he will die in them. We think this is unfair. Our thinking is wrong. The word is very clear on this. 2 Peter 3:9 Our Father is waiting on us to come to the truth of who we are with out Him so that we will be saved in the end. He is longsuffering, He doesn’t want any of us to perish. He wants us to walk in His fullness. 2 Corinthians 2:5-11 When we hold people in a place after God has dealt with them and there has been a Godly repentance, we will cause more and greater harm to ourselves and to others. These matters are sometimes sensitive but they are still areas where God wants restoration and healing in our lives. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 Our Father will deliver us from evil, we can have confidence in Him that He is able. He knows every hair on our head. You are not His biggest problem. The problem is that we will not submit to Him and His ways. Isaiah 55:6-7 All we have to do is to turn back to the Lord and start over. It is never too late. All your sins are pardoned by Jesus and His blood. V.8 The Lord does not think like we do. His ways are different. He looks on the heart. He is not concerned about the outside, it is the inside He is restoring. The Lord works in mysterious ways. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If we will humble ourselves. It is out pride that keeps us from being humiliated. We need to bow before our Lord and seek Him for healing. Add Comment HEARING GOD 06/30/2010
Hearing God Genesis 22:1-8 Abraham knew his God. He knew His voice and he obeyed. It is very important today that we know the voice of who is speaking to us. Hebrews 3:7-8 Some of us hear but we will not obey. God is speaking, we are living in the wilderness days of temptation. Listen to what the Spirit is saying. Hebrews 5:11-14 We are dull of hearing. Some of us are stubborn and we want things to be our way instead of God’s way. We say this can’t be the way of God. Are you kidding? Read your bible! Some of us will give an account of the word that we know. 2 Timothy 4:2-4 Do you think anyone is going to listen to you when you preach one thing and live another? We need to wake up church! People need the gospel, we need to be hearing God’s voice and obeying His words. Or there is a danger of us having itchy ears. What are itchy ears? It’s having and agreeing with something that is not God’s will for your life. If you want something bad enough you will convince yourself it is God’s will and you will no longer endure sound doctrine. We need to hear from God. James 1:19 Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. It is a new fight! John 10:2-5 We are able to hear His voice if we will shut up and listen. God does not need all your talk. Trouble is on every side and He is talking. But we are not listening. Are you His sheep? Are you listening? John 8:47 This is an eye opener. Some of you hear and don’t obey, and some of you hear others instead of God. This is not good. Be warned today. You can know Him and hear His voice today. Or do you have itchy ears? This isn’t what you want to hear. Hear God! Acts 22:7-9 There is always those who cannot and will not receive the voice of God. If God has called you then you have heard His voice. Can you still hear Him? Mark 4:23-25 Think about the gift of hearing that we have. What are we doing with what God has spoken to us? Those of us who hear will hear more and more. Today those of us who will not listen, what we do know will be taken away. If you have little, you need more. James 1:22 If you hear and do it you will walk in blessings and safety. If you hear and refuse then you will lose they very word that you heard. It will become of no effect through your disobedience. If you put to work through your obedience what you heard then you will grow and change and God will give you more. Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God. Be still to hear His voice, listen to the wisdom of God. He will be exalted among the heathen. In all the letters to the churches in Revelation it says “Let him hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying” Why did God end each letter with this statement? It must be important! We are to listen to that still small voice. PLEAD THE BLOOD 06/20/2010
Plead The Blood Revelation 12:7-12 Our victories are won by our faith in the power of His blood and by the word (His word) of our testimony. Which is His word in our mouths. We are not able to overcome anything without God or His blood. The devil has waged an attack of different sorts on the body of Christ. We need to get ready. Romans 5:9-11 It is through His blood that the atonement of our sins has already been paid. So learn to apply the blood to your heart and mind. Apply it to your eyes and ears, so you can see and hear. Apply it to your lips so that you’re not ensnared by your words. The life is in the blood, your life in Him is in His blood. There is power in the blood of Jesus. It is one of our greatest weapons against the devil. Ephesians 2:13 It is through the blood of Jesus that you have been invited into the kingdom of God. You now have access to the throne of grace. The devil is a liar. Plead the blood. James 4:7-10 As the day of our Lord draws near be careful to recognize the devil and his work. His is the liar and those who yield to him and his ways will continue in their sufferings. Those who are double-minded are living between two worlds. God and the present world. Resist is the word that we will overcome with by putting in action our faith in God’s word and the blood of the Lamb. 1 Peter 5:5-9 We are called to submit to others and to God’s redemptive work. Notice in v.9 Resist the devil knowing that there are many who are experiencing some of the same difficulties. We need to be alert, not paranoid. We need to know that the devil will stop at nothing to discourage you. Know who your enemy is. It isn’t your wife or your husband, it isn’t your family or people in your life. The bible tells us that it isn’t flesh and blood, it’s a spiritual war. Ephesians 4:26-28, 5:13-17, 6:10-13 It is up to you to stop the thief. It is our disobedience where we have failed. Wake up church. We are in the last hour, let us be wise and redeem the time before it is too late. And finally we need to recognize our enemy by the spirit and not by our sight. Put on the whole armor of God that you may stand in this hour. Watch for the disappointments of the heart, they will deceive you. Apply the blood to your heart. People’s hearts are failing them. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-24 Test all things. Learn to wait on God. Ask Him for discernment between good and evil that you will be able to resist the enemy. Most of our failures and mistakes are made fighting with flesh and blood instead of warfare in the spirit. In the middle of darkness we’re to hold fast that which is good. Jesus has given us the power of His blood to overcome every obstacle in your life. Plead the Blood over your family, your jobs, your finances, your home, your church family. If you are changing and pressing into God then you are experiencing hardships in some area of your life. If life is good, then look out, the devil isn’t worried about you. You are already in his court. This message is for both of you. One, to encourage you and to remind you of your greatest weapon, the blood. And two, to warn those who are not experiencing trails like you’ve never seen before. That you are either lukewarm or cold. Galatians 1:3-5 May God’s grace be multiplied to you in this present world. You can overcome by His blood and His word. Those of you who continue to suffer through one mistake after another, come. End your suffering with total surrender to Him. A NEW FIGHT 06/09/2010
A New Fight The church is in need of intercessors. Pastors are in need of intercessors. Our families, our nation and the lost are in need of intercessors. True revival comes through prayer. Reinhard Bonnke is a german evangelist, he has 500 full time intercessors with many full time intercessor coordinators. Pastor Cho in South Korea attributes his success in having the largest church in the world to prayer and intercession. Exodus 17:9-12 Ministers of the gospel need constant prayer in conducting the affairs of the church. Prayer is like strengthening the arms of your pastor and your leaders a like. Ministry will not be without battle waging war against it. And without intercessors these ministries will fail. These forces are very strong for one or a few to fight. It needs an army of intercessors to be defeated. A lot of our battles in church, in our homes, finances, etc are being lost because of our lack of prayer. Today we live in a different battle. It isn’t the same. We need intercessors! Judges 7:5-6 Gideon was known as Jerubaal which means “devil fighter”. God did not need the whole army He just needed a few who would do it His way. Numbers are not important to God, our hearts for prayer and seeking Him is what He sees. To have victory in today’s battle we need to be a devil fighter. How? By resisting him first then we have to learn to press through the oppression in our life. When you fight and stand against him it may get worse. And there will be those who will advise for you not to do those things. Don’t make noise in the kingdom of darkness, But God! We have to, we can’t let fear grip our hearts as so to back down. But remember, it may hurt you to go forward. But in the end you will be hurting the kingdom of darkness. Revelation 6:10 How long oh Lord? How long will this trial last? How long will You let me suffer? How long must I wait? We have all been there. “how long” is mentioned many times in the bible. Zechariah 1:12 Even the angles asked how long Lord? See how long it has been for Jerusalem. What if the power of intercession might have changed the length of their suffering. Oh today how we so know how to pray and we don’t! Hoe long will you wait and not cry unto the Lord? Hebrews 10:36-39 How long is answered by as long as our Lord allows. All we can do is pray and wait. James 1:2-4 There is a purpose for every test that we will go through. Church today’s battle is changing. The Lord is calling all of His intercessors to pray for His kingdom, His work, and His people. Most of the time we give up and resolve to seeking a relief instead of a victory. This hinders the work of God in our lives. But it is hard to suffer, though it is necessary sometimes. We need to have patience and perseverance. Know this, that God is for you, He is with you, and you belong to Him. Even of you fall He will catch you. (Is. 54:11-17) Psalm 37:23-24 We will go through things. The power of intercession can change and protect and strengthen the entire body of Christ. Galatians 6:9 Do not grow weary in these troubled times. Learn to pray and seek Him while He may be found. And know that your prayers are like literally holding up the arms of Moses to defeat the enemies of God. WHAT IS YOUR CONFESSION? 06/06/2010
What Is Your Confession? What are you confessing? 1 John 4:15 Our first confession should be Jesus is the Son of God. Matthew 10:32 What is your confession? Every time we confess Jesus as our Lord we are proclaiming Him alive before men. We don’t serve a dead Jesus. We remember someone who has died because we knew them. If Jesus died over 2,000 years ago then how do you know Him if He is still dead? You know Him because He is alive! Our confessions of his word are bringing life to all who hear them. John 12:48 The word is full of life and power. If we reject His word what kind of confession will we have then? Where would we be and how could we survive in this hostile world without His word and His promises of love and hope? Our confession needs to be in His word alone. Romans 10:9-10 Is your confession lost or saved? If you truly believe and confess you will be saved. People say that others will not say what they don’t believe. This is wrong, people lie and deceive others everyday. The key here is to believe. If we believe then His word is full of promises to confess and to overcome this life. 1 John 1:2 Is your confession about lack or provision? Do you say, “I’m broke, I need money”? Your confession should be Psalm 50:10 “May Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills”. Or Philippians 4:19 “My God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus”. Our God desires for you to prosper and to be in good health, He wants us whole in order to serve Him. Proverbs 6:2 We are ensnared by the word of our mouth. Our own confessions are trapping us daily. When we have so much more to confess. Psalm 118:17 The power of life and death is in our tongues! So what should your confession be? “I will live and not die, I will declare the works of our Lord”. Isaiah 53:3 Is your confession, “I am sick”? The word says that Jesus bore all of our sin and diseases. Psalm 107:20, He sent His word and healed them. So, our confession must be, “I am healed!”. Think about what you are confessing, stop agreeing with the enemy about your life and well being. He doesn’t care, complain all you want, he agrees with you. We must agree with God! 1 Peter 1:3,5 Is your confession hope deferred? Where is your hope? We have hope because of being begotten (born again). So that we’ll be like Jesus (the only begotten) who was resurrected by the power of God. So, our confession is in our hope in God alone for eternal life. Mark 11:22-24 Is our confession full of doubt instead of faith? Remember: “Doubt = Do Without, Faith = Believe & Receive” We steadily need confessions of our faith in God’s ability to deliver us, heal us, and provide for us. Hebrews 11:13-16 Our confessions about our Lord should be steadfast and unmovable. Our confessions need to declare His word in us and in this world daily. So what are you confessing? WILL YOU BE COUNTED WORTHY? 06/02/2010
Will You Be Counted Worthy? 1 Timothy 5:17 God does allow honor in the body of Christ. He is judging us if we are worthy of that honor. As we come into the place of really knowing that He is worthy, then God will allow us to be worthy of honor. And also worthy of double honor in this lifetime. Colossians 1:9-10 There are many coming into the Kingdom seeking honor. We have to be counted worthy. What does this mean? It doesn’t mean that we have to be perfect. It means that we have to believe and to be fruitful in every good work. If you believe and you’re living in His kingdom, then you will be fruitful and counted worthy. 2 Thessalonians 1:3-6,11-12 We have an awesome calling to suffer for righteousness sake. Again, we need to be counted worthy even to suffer for Him. We must believe that He is worthy! The token is the evidence of God’s righteousness and His judgment in our persecutions. Because one day we who are counted worthy will be at ease in His presence forever. Matthew 10:10-14 God calls His children worthy of His kingdom. And there are others who are worthy to help us by receiving us. And if they refuse, even the dust on our feet from their house is not worthy of us. Luke 7:1-6 Even though the elders of the Jews found him worthy, he knew that he was not. This man received God’s elect, and he loved Israel. He was worthy because he believed in the One who is worthy. Therefore, he was fruitful in his works. Luke 15:18-24 This is the story of the prodigal son. This sin felt unworthy by his actions, but the Father made him worthy because he was a son. As we believe and return to our Lord we become worthy of all of His promises. Because He is worthy restoration can be made in our lives. Luke 21:34-36 There is a time approaching th which we all will need to be counted worthy to escape the coming judgment on this earth. To be counted worthy here means you are worthy to be raptured out of this place. Ephesians 4:1-3 We are to walk worthy of our calling which is: To walk in lowliness and humility of mind (no pride), To walk in meakness – not haughty, To walk in longsuffering – having patience with faith, To forbear one another in love endeavoring to keep the spirit of the unity of peace. Are you a peace maker? Keeping these will ensure that you be counted worthy. 1 Thessalonians 1:12 This is the highest calling of all. To be counted worthy of God, who has called you and invited you to serve in His kingdom. He alone is worthy! THE NEED FOR WORSHIP 05/23/2010
The Need For Worship We need true worship to connect with Heaven. We need worship to hear clearly from God. Worship will shut out all the other voices in our minds. Either God will speak or we will have silence and peace. Psalm 29 We need the powerful voice of our Lord. The kind of worship that we are used to will not bring the change that we need. Matthew 15:8-9 A pure worship is a form of communion. We worship by faith and honor through a laying down of our lives. This is how we get the attention of our Lord. We cannot worship Him with a form of Godliness, it must be through spirit and truth. John 4:23-24 From the hour our Lord died the true worshipping started. After Jesus’ death the disciple’s love for Him was stronger. This is when true worship started, when they realized who He was and what all He had done for them, and most of all how much He loved them. 2 Samuel 22:1-4 David called on the Lord who is worthy to be praised. Our God is worthy of all our praises. Look at what the Lord has done. He could do so much more in our lives if we would praise Him all the way through to breakthrough. Joshua 5:13-15 God appeared to Joshua as the captain of the Lord of hosts. Our worship could be in the place that we would see Him and that we could hear His voice. God is the only one who says remove your shoes you’re standing on holy ground. Very few times have we experienced His presence like this. Our worship should come to this degree every time we come together. In pure worship we discover that we’re not alone and that He is who He says He is. Do you want to hear God say, “Remove your shoes, you’re standing on holy ground”? Hebrews 11:4 Abel’s offering came through his faith in God. How can you worship someone in which your faith is not really in? Is your faith in God or in yourself? We cannot please God without faith, so how can we truly worship Him? 1 Chronicles 16:23-29 We have to get into His presence and then stay in it until He reveals Himself. There is glory and honor for Him. We need to bring an offering of praise, not a work like Cain did. We need an offering of pure worship worthy of our Lord. The word says to worship in the beauty of holiness. This is the holy of holies, this is the place where we cannot just quit. When we get to this place of worship this is where God deals with our hearts. This is where we are broken and humbled before our Lord. This is where we wait on Him. This is where we hear from Him. This is the throne room. Isaiah 6:1-5 Our praise and worship together should usher us into the holy of holies. Together we can create an atmosphere of worship fro our King. You can’t see him, but He is high and lifted up. We can come boldly to the throne of grace by His Spirit. We waste too much time just singing songs instead of singing to Him. His train, which is His glory, fills the temple. His glory is in us, there is no reason good enough as to why we cannot go into worship like this. We need this people! We need His holy presence. We need just one touch of His glory to be changed forever. It’s worth waiting for. How will we know that we are undone without it? There are changes that will need to take place. We need everyone’s cooperation. There needs to be a reverence when the Holy Spirit is moving, and a willingness to wait on the Lord’s presence. How can we cut off His presence? TWO KINDS OF LOST 05/16/2010
Two Kinds Of Lost The first is those who have never heard the gospel. There are some who may have heard bits and pieces and are becoming ready to be harvested. Matthew 9:10-13 My spirit-filled commentary gives a good note here, it says that Jesus likens himself to a physician who goes where there are needs. Just as Jesus cannot refuse to treat sinners, neither can physicians refuse to treat the sick. He is drawn to the lost and because He lives in us, should we not be feeling the burden of the lost? Luke 19:10 Our Father, came by the way of His Son, He came for one reason only, to save all who were lost. To provide all the way back to Him and to give us access to His throne day or night. Matthew 5:13 We are the salt. If those who are saved and called by His name cannot season another life then what good are we? If you really know Jesus, then you have salt because He is the salt. He is the word and it is the word which brings seasoning to a life. If you have no salt then how can you be salted? (if the salt loses it’s flavor how then shall it be seasoned?) We are to be seasoned or salted daily through His word. (but id we don’t have Jesus (salt) then how will we receive His word (seasoned or salted)?) Ezekiel 34:16 Jesus is the true shepherd and if He lives in us then are we hindering His work? And have we become the bad shepherds of Ez 34:4? I think so! Mark 16:15-18 Tells us to do the very same thing that we read in Ez. 34 and Mk 16. We read what a good shepherd wants to do. This is the great commission, to go after that which is lost and to reap the harvest (put in the sickle). There are those who are lost and those who have fallen. The second is those who have fallen away. Matthew 18:11-14 We are also like shepherds. We carry with us the Good Shepherd. We need to tend to the flock and if one has gone astray we must go after the lost one, the one who has lost his/her way. Galatians 6:1-5 None of us have arrived yet. Where is the love of God in us? Where is His heart for His people? Unless these which have gone astray be restored, they could be lost to the kingdom forever. V.4-5 Everyone of us will have to give an account for our own walk with the Lord. We are called to repair and restore that which is lost or broken. Beware of self-pride when dealing with one of God’s children who has gone astray. 1 Corinthians 10:12 Our attitude should be full of mercy and compassion for those who have fallen. It can just as easily be one of us. We are called to go after those who are lost. Matthew 4:19-21 They were mending nets. In Jesus our nets are mended, but if we never cast it out how can we be fishers of men? Hebrews 11:3 The word “framed” means to arrange, set in order, equip, adjust to, complete what was lacking, to make fully ready, repair and prepare. The word of God has called and prepared a net to catch multitudes. A harvest of souls. This net has been pulled and torn apart through many trials and errors. But we are called to mend the broken parts of our net and to continue our work in Him. (the spirit of the lord is upon me, He has anointed me…) Many souls are sliding through the cracks and holes in our nets. We are losing multitudes. John 21:5-11 We have Jesus to mend our nets. We need to bring back that which is lost. If they don’t come back or flat out refuse to hear the gospel then their refusing is not to us, it is unto God. We need to mend, then cast on the right side of God and He will make us fishers of men. There are two kinds of lost people. Let the Lord direct your path to one of them. WHICH SUFFERING? 05/05/2010
Which Suffering? 1 Peter 4:13-17 There are two kinds of suffering, the one that we cause because of iniquity, and the one because we choose to suffer the wrong. Which one is better? Both will cause suffering. The first one cannot be better. This suffering leads to death in everything we touch, including our souls. This suffering is caused from a carnal state of mind. In a carnal state we cannot fight a spiritual problem. The second suffering will bring rewards in this life as well as the life to come. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 If we choose to walk according to our flesh we will suffer. We will cause our situation to become worse and worse. You can stay there long enough to become a victim. Victims suffer loss, Victors gain victory. Which way do you want to suffer? Romans 10:17 Faith to overcome comes by hearing the word of God spoken, the word of God read, and seeing the word in action. Our walking in faith pleases God. It draws people to God. Become a dominator of your circumstances instead of becoming a slave to the conditions that surround you. Yes, you may have to suffer some things like persecutions and such. But most of our sufferings can be avoided. But only by our faith in God, not in our self. Become a dominator over the enemy in your life. Look at Moses, God told him why cry unto Me? Lift up your rod and command the sea to divide. The three Hebrew children believed while going into the fire, their faith dominated the fire. Peter’s faith dominated gravity when he walked on the water. Matthew 8:26-27 Jesus said, oh ye of little faith. Not the kind I just mentioned. Jesus is saying why can’t you come and walk with me, walk like I do, talk like I do? Why can’t you dominate your surroundings when I have given you everything? Why do you suffer in the pit? 1 John 4:4 We give Satan our consent to rule over us, forgetting who we have living in us. My, my! How can this be? And why? Because we walk by sight and not by faith. The sad truth is that most of the body of Christ is here. The word is Jesus, it is truth, God is not a man that he should lie. Therefore to fight the spiritual problems in our physical lives we need to know that the One who is in us is greater than the one who is working against us. Every problem is caused by spiritual wickedness and this will be getting worse. If we fight with out God then our suffering will get worse. Mark 11:22-24 There is an order to prayer and it is to be followed in this order: 1.) What things so ever you DESIRE, 2.) When ye PRAY, 3.) BELIEVE that you receive, 4.) You shall HAVE them. This shows faith in the work that has already been done. Romans 10:11 If we trust Him in faith, because His word tells us to, and we believe every word to be true, then we will be victorious and we will not be ashamed. This is not shame on God, it is shame on you, of what you could have had and what you could have done. There are no limits in God. The limits are in us. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 (read entire chapter) We cannot go by feelings. We must know and believe the word of God. Mark 11:24 is in order, this is how a miracle is made. MULTIPLY 04/28/2010
Multiply Genesis 1:20-28 God told every living creature to be fruitful and multiply. As believers we are new creatures alive unto the resurrection of Christ. We are called as workers in the kingdom of God. The kingdom lives in us and it is in us that we must labor. Matthew 20:1-7 There are people outside of the kingdom and there are those who arein the kingdom standing idle. This is not good. Notice in v.6 that it is the eleventh hour. Today we are in the eleventh hour. Why are we standing? Matthew 9:37-38 We are the laborers who have been hired to go out into the field. White unto harvest means that there are souls to win, many souls. What are we waiting for? As each day passes more and more are entering into the kingdom of darkness and we have the keys to eternal life. Proverbs 16:25-26 The labors that Christ is talking about are not the works that men do. Men work for themselves, they work for here and now. The labor that Christ is talking about are the works or the fruit that remains. Everything else will be burned up. Souls are the only fruit that will remain. (Lay up treasures in Heaven) Proverbs 11:30 He that wins souls, the bible says is wise. 1 Corinthians 3:6-9, 13-15 We labor with God, but God is the One who gives the increase. No matter if you water or plant, we will receive our rewards according to our labors. 2 Corinthians 5:17 When someone shared the gospel with us they were multiplied. We became a new creature in Christ. Mark 16:15 We are to preach to every creature. This is the great commission. We need to multiply the seed that God has planted in our hearts. Acts 6:7 As the word was preached God increased their numbers. It was the word spoken by His people that brought the increase through God. They were witnesses of the events of the cross. As we are His witnesses also. We might have been there but He was and He lives in us. Acts 2:37-44 The word, fellowship, and the breaking of bread brought the anointing for increase in their lives and in the lives of those who were lost. John 6:26-27 Labor not for that which will perish. Labor for souls in the harvest and you will have treasure in Heaven. |
