What Will It Require 2 Corinthians 4:1-3, 16-18 (Ch.4 all)

We’ve been called into His ministry and if it is hid, it is hid for them who are lost. We are called to be a light in a dark place and to preach the gospel at all cost. Our requirement here is to not faint. We cannot just give up, we have to press in, especially during adversity. (Hebrews 10:35-39 Don’t give up) (Galatians 6:9 faint not)

2 Timothy 3:12-14, 4:2-5

If you will live right, you will suffer. But we can’t quit because these days are evil and people will not hear any longer.

1 Peter 4:12-19

Sometimes we will suffer out of ignorance because of lack of knowledge. Do not be ashamed, judgment will begin with us. But let our suffering be not because of sin. Suffering is one of the greatest requirements (Think how Jesus suffered) As we suffer through trials and temptations we will discover our true hearts.

Hebrews 2:10

Suffering is a requirement to make our salvation perfect. We learn and grow through suffering. All of the disciples grew through their suffering.

Mark 8:31-33

Jesus offended those who lived and walked according to their flesh. This is referring to the ways of men, not God. We sometimes get tired of trying to understand things. The more we learn about God, the less we know. But this is not for you to turn from seeking Him and turn towards men for answers. This is where religion comes in, they conform to what they know, what they can understand, and what they can control. We cannot control Jesus, he is free and so are we. We must stay this way.

Acts 16:25-26

Praise is required in the worst times of your life. It is required in your greatest times of need and during lack. Praise is required in your darkest hour when you cannot see. Our old ways are not working any longer. It will require more from us.

Galatians 3:1-5

It is clear that the scripture is talking about people who had Christ preach to them clearly. How did you receive Christ? By the works of man or by his spirit by faith? If by the spirit you have received then why have you drawn back? Why are conforming to the ways of men? Have you really suffered so much or did you suffer in vain, because of your own disobedience or ignorance? Who are you listening to? Do they hear from God? Are they speaking what the spirit is saying? The spirit of God is the one in control, not man. Is God working here?

Ephesians 4:28

Don’t let the devil steal anymore. Labor in the kingdom by faith and by his spirit so that you and others may receive freedom and truth. We cannot give what we do not have, and that is in everything.

Revelation 12:11

We overcome our enemy by our testimony and the blood of the lamb. That no matter what he does to us we will not forsake Christ and we will not forsake righteousness. And finally, we will give up our lives as it is required of us to do so. Prepare us Lord.
