Praise and Worship Vision
The vision of Believers Church Praise and Worship Team is that through music whether it is with a band or with recorded music we strive to be worshippers that God seeks after, worshipping Him in spirit and truth, not in form, but with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving others as ourselves. We will strive to live a lifestyle of worship to Him alone (John 4:23,24; Luke 10:27). We will pursue God's presence passionately in our inividual lives, as a Team, and in our corporate worsip, seeking to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, desiring Him to move freely, changing hearts and lives. Our purpose as a praise team is to help usher the people of God into His presence. We are not a performance group. We are not here to provide a song service for the listening enjoyment of man, but to lead this family of believers in expressing their love to Him. We are to "lead by example".
God is moving us out of the setting of "normal" church. He is calling us out beyond these walls. We will be mobilized to carry his presence. Through our worship and ministry, He is going to place in this church and everywhere we go the manifest, tangible presence of God. Our sanctuary will be just that, a sanctuary, where the presence of God lives. This sanctuary will be a place of shelter and freedom. Psalms 91:1 says "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty". We must be committed to dwell, abide and live in his presnece. Anything less will not fulfill God's vision.
